We experience the universe through the excitation of sensory receptors and the firing of neurons in their respective cortices. All that we perceive, is the culmination of a multitude of stochastic systems; running in unison and forming the illusion of consciousness. Through the use of technological prosthetics we form a collective consciousness which allows access into realms normally outside our inherent empirical and physical limits. The Strange Loops series explores those limits and highlights the contrast between the advancements of humans and their relative insignificance within the context of a greater cosmos.
